Bonnaroo is more than a music festival; it’s an experience for all your senses, and we’re here to help you navigate it.
Here’s our Bonnaroo Festival break down.
Bonnaroo Basics
Know the Code
First things first: know the code. The Bonnaroovian Code. You’ll be able to get the most out of your Bonnaroo experience if you understand the culture–one that represents positivity and inclusion–ahead of time. The most important rule: Stay True Roo and let the positive experience carry over into the rest of your life.

Community Living
Bonnaroo offers a community campsite with various camping options. The bathrooms have running water and regular maintenance. Alongside the campsite, The Grove is an ideal place to relax in a hammock and enjoy some solitude among the trees. Festival general stores are stocked with all the essentials, if you need them. Pods located throughout the festival grounds are equipped with charging stations, showers, drinking water and cafes.
Bring the Kids
Family-friendly camping and activities are available at Kidz Jam in Centeroo.
Sing Your Heart Out
The Grind, located in Pod 7, has a late-night karaoke bar where you can get together with friends and enjoy inebriated singing. Sign up for open mic night and show off your vocal skills, or jam out with fellow festival goers during Fan Superjam.
Get Dolled Up
Primp to impress at the Soap and Glory Soaper Station, a quick-fix beauty station brought to you by Bonnaroo’s own Glory Girls. Airbrush tattoos, eyeliner, perfume, mouthwash: they have everything you need to help you get set-ready after running through The Fountain.
Bonnaroo Activities
Bonnaroo has so many activities to choose from. Here are some faves.

Join the Parade
Of course Bonnaroo has a parade tradition. March through Centeroo to the sounds of a brass band behind a fancy art car with your fellow festival goers, and make some new friends while you’re at it.
Twerk It Out
Big Freedia, rightfully named the Queen of Bounce, brings her talents to Bonnaroo this year to teach you the best in booty-bouncing in her Twerk class. Classes are available Friday-Sunday at 11 am in front of the Solar Stage.
Stay Fit
Four days of partying on a remote farm can take a toll on your exercise routine. Burn some calories with a complimentary Yoga class or join the Roo Run 5K Saturday morning.
Get Artsy With the KaleidoShack
Head over to Pod 3 and help decorate the lifesize kaleidoscope that has become a staple at Bonnaroo. Bring trinkets, material or art pieces and contribute to the ever-evolving artistry.
Show Your Sketch Skills
Head over to The Sketchbook Project, select a page and get creative. Your artwork
