In the year 2017 there is an over-saturated festival market. From Sasquatch losing a weekend, to the disaster that was Fyre Festival, it’s clear that is has become more difficult to compete in the ever-evolving world of music festivals.
To remain at the top, festivals need to offer more than just big-name music acts, as practically every touring artist stops at each festival on the summer circuit. To remain at the top, a festival must create a special vibe with a combination of music, art, aesthetics, food, logistics and more. This is what makes events like Coachella so special.
Another major festival to understand the essence of “vibe” is the Life is Beautiful festival. By creating a melting pot of incredible music, art, comedy and ideas in the entertainment capital of the world, Life Is Beautiful has come to stand out among the crowd of American Music Festivals.
I was completely surprised and enthralled when I saw the lineup this year. No other festival (not even Coachella) is able to bring together such an eclectic lineup with big names and emerging artists.
